#RSGAuction - over £7k raised for Macmillan and Bloodwise

RSG, the UK’s leading independent recruitment firm, has raised more than £7K in a two-week silent auction in aid of two of the UK’s major cancer charities.

The 70 lots were donated from generous businesses around the UK in aid of MacMillian Cancer Care and Bloodwise – causes that were chosen from the 220-strong team at RSG. The money will be split evenly between the two.The Bristol headquartered team had set out with an ambition of £5K but had smashed that by day nine.

The bids, which went on lots such as racing days, hospitality football tickets, spa days and luxury events, had raised a total of £7020 when the silent auction closed on Monday May 22. Adam Meadows, Director at RSG said: “The silent auction was a pretty big undertaking but thanks to the generous donations from clients, suppliers and personal contacts it has been a huge success.

“Both McMillian and Bloodwise are charities that are close to the hearts of many of the RSG team. To be able to donate £3510 to each is a figure beyond our expectations so we are incredibly grateful to everyone who made a bid and got involved.”
