RSG leaps 15 places in national league table of leading private mid-market growth companies
Resource Solutions Group Plc is pleased to announce it has been named as one of 15 companies headquartered in the South West to make it on the 2015 Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table.
Published this weekend, the 11th annual list ranks the UK's private mid-market growth companies with the biggest sales. RSG, which is headquarted in Bristol, has leapt from 197 in 2013 to 182 this year.
Together the SW companies increased combined sales 26% to £4.3bn, operating profits 25% to £263m and employ nearly 22,000 people.
The journey up the rankings for RSG follows two years of expanding into Europe including opening offices in Munich and Amsterdam. The list also states that sales in RSG also grew to £176m in 2014.
The league table and awards programme is sponsored by Grant Thornton and Barclays, and compiled for the 11th year by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events company.
Mike Beesley, CEO of RSG, said: “We are delighted to have made such an inroad on the Sunday Times Fast Track 250 this year by leaping 15 places in two years. In the 40 years we have been operating as a business, the past year we have seen significant levels of expansion and growth with the opening of four new offices, three of which are outside of the UK, so it’s great to have that recognised at a national level.
“The result is testimony to the dedication and talent of everyone who works at RSG as they consistently deliver excellence and I’m grateful for their continued support and enthusiasm in getting the job done to the highest standards possible.”
The achievement has already begun to feature in the regional press through South West Business News, Insider Media and there will undoubtably be more to follow.
