RSG networking event at the Grayson Perry Exhibition ‘The Vanity of Small Differences’
On Thursday 19th April we invited some of our clients to come to a special viewing of Grayson Perry’s Exhibition, The Vanity of Small Differences. The networking event provided us with an opportunity to get to know our clients in a more informal setting, whilst also enjoying an evening viewing the incredible exhibition which RSG have sponsored.
Held at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, the exhibition features six large tapestries exploring the British fascination with taste and class. Inspired by A Rake’s Progress, Hogarth’s morality tale, the tapestries explore the fictional life of Time Rakewell from infancy to death. The tapestries were made in conjunction with a Channel 4 series, All in the Best Possible Taste, a documentary which detailed Grayson Perry’s inspiration for the artwork.
Mike Beesley, CEO, said: “The event follows a series of art sponsorships that we’ve done over the years. They provide us with a great platform to entertain clients and meet them in an informal situation or scenario and they themselves get to network whilst also very much promoting our sense of corporate social responsibility strategy within the organisation.”
The exhibition will run until the 24th June.
