CIPD People Management Awards, sponsored by RM, a great success
Resource Management (RM) is proud to have been the headline sponsor at the CIPD People Management Awards, the premier event for the HR profession celebrating everything that HR and L&D has to offer. The Awards were held in London on Tuesday 29th September at the prestigious Grosvenor House, with witty commentary provided by the evenings host, Sandi Toksvig.
CEO of Resource Management Mike Beesley commented: The UK has one of the most diverse and interesting people industries in the world and this was excellently demonstrated by the talent and quality across all categories at the PMAs this year. Having a front row seat on both the judging process and in the final run up was an exciting and insightful process; we offer our full congratulations to those who left Grosvenor House with an award.
With nineteen awards varying from best initiative to professional of the year, the night saw worthy winners from a wide range of sectorsincluding; Bord Gais Energy for HR/L&D team of the year (organisation of 250+ employees), Virgin Money claiming the best recruitment and talent management initiative award, Ovo Energy winning best reward and benefits initiative and Islamic Relief Worldwide who were awarded the title of the HR/L&D team of the year in the third sector/social enterprise category award.
In addition to acting as the official headline sponsors, Resource Management also sponsored the best change management initiative award. This was awarded to Bourne Leisure for a clear purpose of putting customers back at the heart of what they do through a range of initiatives focused on enhancing people capability. Chris Buckingham, Head of RPO and Implementation at RM, presented the award.
At the end of the evening, Mike Beesley presented the grand prix award which recognised the most outstanding category winner. This was awarded to best employee engagement initiative winners RHP, for improvements to employee engagement whilst simultaneously revamping their customer culture approach. Their achievement of a 97% customer satisfaction score for 2014-15, up from 88 per cent in 2010, perfectly demonstrates the extent of their success.
Congratulations to all winners, commended and finalists at the CIPD PMAs15!
