What you’ll be responsible for:

Contributing to the delivery of the IT internal audit operating plan - particularly the scheduling and prioritising of worldwide audits that meet Group and Regional standards and requirements

Conducting and co-ordinating IT audit schedules with regional functions and encouraging the sharing of relevant information

Contributing to the delivery of agreed regional internal audit programmes, in line with the agreed project plan and internal audit templates and reporting standards

Conducting IT audits, reporting on the overall position including the aggregate impact of risks or weaknesses exposed, supporting conclusions and recommending appropriate actions

Following up audit recommendations on a regular basis to prompt action to mitigate relevant risks and/or improve risk management practice

Contributing and delivering a number of audits including identifying the risks and controls to the assignments and promotion of best practice methods and practices for Internal Audit

Building, developing and maintaining strong relationships with regional Audit colleagues and other senior managers, to encourage the early and open discussion of issues arising and joint commitment to problem solving
The person we are looking for:
You will need to have achieved one or more of the following qualifications: CISA, CISSP or CISM.
You’ll also need to have a detailed knowledge of risk management and internal audit practice, and comprehensive knowledge in general IT security concepts.
In addition, you’ll have in-depth experience with security configuration of various infrastructure components including operating systems, databases, middleware components, and networking.
You’ll have good knowledge of systems development and project management processes, application system architecture and encryption techniques.
Ideally you will also have previous experience of working in the Insurance or Financial Services sector.
