After a successful partnership in 2011 that saw Resource Solutions Group Plc (RSG) take on seven new trainees, Apprentice winner Lee McQueen and his company Raw Talent Academy are back to help the recruitment giant find more 'raw talent'.
Despite news of record unemployment in the UK, RSG is aiming to hire up to eight new trainees from the scheme which sees candidates assessed over a range of business tasks and team challenges.
Over 30 candidates have been invited to the Apprentice-style audition day in Bristol, where senior management from RSG and assessors from Raw Talent Academy will judge their capabilities. Candidates will take part in four tasks aimed at evaluating their skills, with a particular focus on team work, leadership, work ethic, sales, communication and recruitment knowledge.
The following day, those who have survived the first stage will be invited to make a presentation to senior management at RSG on why they should be hired, followed by a panel interview where their capabilities will be pushed even further.
This unique process means candidates are not just judged by their CV alone, but given the opportunity to showcase their skills through a range of business tasks. After such a successful result in 2011, RSG should look forward to getting their hands on the next batch of raw talent.
