Resource Solutions Group (RSG) Teams up with Apprentice Star in New Academy Initiative

One of Britain’s biggest recruitment organisations, Resource Solutions Group Plc (RSG), have enlisted the help of Apprentice winner Lee McQueen and his company Raw Talent Academy, to help find fresh new sales talent for their flagship recruitment centre in Bristol.

The deal, worth £45k, will create ten new jobs at RSG’s Clifton based recruitment centre in Bristol. Each candidate will go through an extensive audition process by participating in a series of business tasks and team building challenges in front of a panel of senior management staff from RSG. Raw Talent Academy will source up to 40 candidates for the audition day to be held in Bristol on June 21st.

Director of Raw Talent Academy and 2008 winner of The Apprentice, Lee McQueen, says, "All too often employers judge candidates on their CV alone. The academy process allows RSG to take a closer look at their future employees by recreating real life business situations and seeing how they respond to daily challenges. The academy process has been especially designed to meet the specific criteria RSG are looking for in their future employees. On the audition day, RSG will see firsthand what the candidates are like as individuals and how they work as a team. It takes the interview process to a whole different level and goes beyond the traditional one on one interview experience."

Nick Walrond, Managing Director of RSG, says "Resource Solutions Group Plc is very proud to be offering a total of 10 jobs through this process. With record youth unemployment and an economy coming out of the worst recession in 30 years, we are keen to help bolster the economy by giving young people the chance to secure a good job. Through our bespoke academy programme, new joiners to our organisation will get a comprehensive introduction to working in the recruitment industry, whilst gaining employment experience and learning valuable transferrable skills."

Prospective candidates are invited to apply for a place in the academy through creating a short video clip explaining why they have the raw talent to receive a place on the audition day. Candidates can also fill out a basic online application form to register their interest. Lee says, “We are interested in top quality individuals with a drive and passion to succeed. We’re not interested in a piece of paper. This is a great opportunity for candidates to show they have the raw attributes and personality to start a career with one of the country’s most established recruitment providers. You don’t need to have ten A stars or a first class degree. You just need the right attitude and will to succeed."
